Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement of the Newton County Sheriff's Office, GDC, a court, or any government agency.

Suspension of Access

We may limit, suspend, or block access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Georgia Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Georgia. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-74, governs covered public agencies, not this private reference.

Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. The affected term will be adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
